Drawn to objects

Hi! So I recently went to this new age shop and was very drawn to a pendant and a notebook. I bought them both, not because I wanted them, but because somehow I NEEDED them. It doesn't happen to me often, but these were very important somehow. I claimed the pendant, but I have yet to find out what the notebook is for, but I felt something REALLY wanted me to get it. Something in my mind just kept screaming to get it. It's a red leather notebook with a compass printed into it. The pendant is a pentagram with an orange stone, I think it was carnelian, in the center.

Anyone has any clues as to why I was drawn to these two objects specifically?

If you were really drawn to the notebook you could use it as your book of shadows. This is a book where you write all your spells, rituals, sometimes horoscopes and other practices. If you want more info about them there’s lots of articles on them.

Be patient. In time, it will reveal it's purpose to you.

People are drawn to objects all the time and we don't know why. It's energy might be meshing with yours easily so you get that pull. It's very common, particularly with tools and crystals and such things.
