Shadow Ring and Possesion

Hi, I have a Black ring, and I had the idea of somehow turning it into a shadow ring. (Embedding a shadow inside it). Does anyone have any tips or ways of how to do this. Also, if it is possible, would the shadow be able to possess other people? If you know please tell me

First, what exactly do you mean by a "Shadow"? A spirit that lurks/manifests within shadows? It is more than possible to bind spirits to various objects, like a ring or necklace, but you should only do such a thing if it is willing, or necessary.

Second, when you imagine it possessing someone do you mean if they put on the ring or would it simply try to possess anyone around you? That is not how possession works, as there are various stages of possession and the Hollywood image of possession, A.K.A spirits suddenly take full control over someone, are inaccurate.

Yes, I mean a spirit who confides and lurks in the shadows and may be classified as a ‘shadow’. For the possession thing I was more thinking of pointing my ring hand at them and the shadow inside the ring coming out and possessing them. Not really full control but more like a alternate personality for the person. If this is possible please tell me how to bind the shadow and the ring (I’m not too keen on the possession any more but if possible and you know please tell me)

The nature of the universe is such that if you can conceive of something, then it is possible to some extent. So it is definitely possible to trap a shadow in a ring.
