Mimosa tree

I know that the type of mimosa tree I have is Albizin julibrissin. I was wondering if the root can be used for herbal medicine like the flowers and bark. I have several large trees but also some small ones that are trying to grow between the steps and beside the porch so they are going to have to be removed. I plan on harvesting the bark but I can't find anything about using the root of this type of mimosa.Thanks
