Be as respectful as you can! She is amazing! Give a sacrifice a day. (I give a cup of water lol) and expect her to push you to your limits.(both good and bad) and she is capable of more than healing.
Im wanting to work with her for the spiritual healing right now. And I understand respect is key when dealing with her and other demons/ goddesses. Thank you for the advice my friend.
If you haven't already I would research as much as you can, on many different sources. Maybe ask around people who have worked with her, to get a sense on what your dealing with. Respected normally comes as a given when working with anything, be that person in living or one who has crossed over.
You can always give her an offering to her likening before working with her. I'd take your time with this. Unless she's a spirt who has already step up and wished to work with you. Try not to get your hopes up if you want to work with her and she doesn't end up working with you, but walking away.
agree, research her as best you can. you should also set up an altar dedicated to her if you wish to work with her and build a relationship. from what i know about Lilith she is one of the "darker" Goddesses, and as someone who works with a few "dark" Goddesses, i can tell you from experience they're stern, not evil. be respectful, and do not argue with them [again, i know from experience lol, not fun] if i were you i would research her and life to her standard, Lilith was one of the first "strong, independent woman" so ask yourself before you do something how would she react.
there's a youtuber i loved watching [she doesn't make videos as much anymore] she works with The Morrigan, and she used the example if she's in the park and a kid is throwing a ball towards where she's sitting, she would calmly say "it is dangerous, please be careful with your game, because other people can get hit with the ball." if the kid ignores her and kicks the ball and it hits her or whomever she's sitting with, she would take the ball away and demand an apology before returning it to the kid. if it happens a third time, she would tell the parent what had happened and leave with the ball. the child had 3 warnings they ignored, and needs to be taught a lesson. [granted, some people might find that mean, but it is how her deity would react. if it was someone like Isis or Percephoni, she would walk away or give the child more toys to play with because "kids will be kids"] so while i wouldn't commit a crime, i would stop and ask yourself "how would Lilith act in this situation?"
I would love to start to work with her i really dont know much of where to start tho.... When i go to research her everything is completely different if you would I love some guidance and a little help
I am happy to help if you are still in need, this thread is quite old so I'm not sure whether or not you've grown in your craft or if ur still interested but for anyone else interested this is what I know of Lilith. Lilith herself stems from midrasnhic text and is a key part of Jewish mythology. Though she was not included in the creation story and though there are many stories of her origins, the most popular was that she was the first wife of Adam. When the Judeo-Christian God created mankind he created Adam from the soil and dust of the Earth when seeing Adam in the Garden in solitude God chose to make a woman to live alongside him. Lilith was created by God from the same dust and soil as Adam and placed to live in the garden with Adam until problems arose between Adam and Lilith when Adam tried to exercise dominance over Lilith. As they were made from the same soil of the Earth by God Lilith believed they were equal (which as Christian as I am, they absolutely were equal). It was said that Lilith refused to lie beneath Adam when they copulated stating that she was created the same and refused to let Adam subjugate her. After Adam disagreed and continued to push dominance onto her, she fled the Garden and walked the uncreated wilderness outside the Garden. Time passed and Adam realised he could not be without Lilith, he feel to his knees in prayer and called out the true name of God and told God that Lilith had fled. Upon hearing this plee God sent three angels Senoy, Sansenoy, and Semangelof, to bring her back. Lilith who had fled the Garden in pursuit of creating her own Garden was propositioned by the Fallen Archangel Lucifer Morningstar (this part of the story varies, some say she was propositioned by Samael or another of the Fallen Angels cast out by Archangel Michael in the War of Heaven) Lucifer lusted over her and treated her as his equal and in some instances his superior even though he was the oldest and most powerful of all God's creation, upon their union Lilith birthed Demonic offspring into the world. The three angels were said to have found Lilith in the Red Sea and commanded her to return to the Garden of Eden, Lilith refused and swore out the true name of God. Outraged the angels said for everyday she did not return they would kill 100 of her offspring. Accounts vary over this part of the story, some say that God commanded the angels to kill Lilith's offspring while some say the three angels did so of their own accord to impress God and fulfil his request of returning her to Garden by brute force. After the death of all of her offspring at the hands of three angels, Lilith attempts to return to the Garden but upon her arrival she saw she had been replaced by Eve, out of anger she copulated with Adam in his sleep and stole his seed, which she used to produce "ilium" or earth-bound demons. This is only one account of Lilith but from my knowledge this is the most known and popular one. Hope I could help!
