I have heard about Witches with their White Magic, I deeply thought about that and now I would like to be a Witch. Can you tell me how I get it? Do I need to perform any ceremony which unlock my power inside? I'm serious. Please help me! Thanks all.
As far as basic folk magic is concerned, simply practicing witchcraft and deciding to call yourself a witch is enough.
If you choose to follow a religion, such as Wicca, or a formal magic tradition, there may be a process of study and initiation carried out by a group, or if you've studied to the point you believe you're ready to call yourself a part of that system, a self-dedication to deities or a tradition is an option.
Being a witch, so to speak, is merely utilizing the magick currently residing inside of you to suit your own benefit. There is no unlocking it. Seeing as were all beings of energy, it has been there since the beginning of time and will continue to exist for millennia to come (albeit in a different form since energy cannot be created or destroyed). The various spells and rituals listed on this site are simply a way of manipulating this energy to improve our lives in regards to the laws of physics and genetics. A simple way of learning how magick works would be to look at the the law attraction. In a gist, this means that the energy you send out you will ultimately receive in return.
The ceremonies youve mentioned may be used to symbolize the beginning of your practice, but they have nothing to do with unlocking your inner potential.
So, can you give me any advice about being a witch? Or would you send me a link for beginner? I'm afraid of getting wrong when I make a spell or doing something Black Spells. It's not good.
My best advice on this site is to read the pinned threads in the Basic Info section. There are some pretty thorough introductions to concepts of magic.
I'd say your best route is to establish a practice, like daily meditation and study. Find as many highly recommended resources as you can get your hands on. When you're ready to get into spells, you'll know and you'll have confidence to branch into the things you want to do.
magick is a natural, neutral energy, it's all about intention, not colour, so unless you're planning to go around cursing people, i doubt you'll cast a "black magick" spell on accident.
there's some beginners articles to get you started as well as pinned forum threats, youtube videos, podcasts, and books to choose from.
i'm also curious if you want to be a witch to cast spells, or are you interested in a pagan path as this would help us narrow down information, advice, and resources for you.
The thing to remember about witchcraft is that it's not about performing extraordinary tasks or discovering secret powers within. It's about a spiritual connection to traditions and ideologies that long precede modern religion (although there are witches who identify as Christian witches, Jewish witches, many of these folk follow mystic teachings that abide to their doctrine). The key here is to develop a routine that fits your intention for the kind of magick you would like to incorporate into your day to day life. If white magick is an interest, I would suggest healing spells, lightworking, good luck spells, and so forth.
Overall, magick is just another way to identify energy, intuition, or other psychological or physical phenomena. While it is true that magick technically has no color, it is generally assumed that the phrase "black and white" magick, or any other color for that matter, is just a way to categorize your preferred practices. Green magick, also known as Hedge witchcraft, can include working with herbs and other plants. So that's something to consider, especially if you find a niche with healing magick.
Research as much as you can about religion, science, and history. Those three main subjects will be your baseline in your jounrey with witchcraft.
