Emailing

How to email on this site? I want to join a group, but I have to email the high priest/priestess to do it.

Click on their name and once you are redirect to their profile, click on the mail tab, at the top right of their profile. The button should be at the top right, near their profile picture. If you are on mobile, there should be three lines above their profile picture. Click on that and it will give you a dropdown list with the mail option.

To mail another on mobile you need to visit the member's profile. At the top of the profile page will be a red rectangle that says profile, click this. It will drop down a menu. One of the options within this profile menu will say mail. Touching this option will bring you to a messaging interface where you can type in a subject for the mail, and your message.

Honestly I was wondering the same thing!

Some of the site functions are not always available on a phone. Give it a try on your desktop if you can't do it on your phone and see whether that works better.
