Bug spirit guides?

Hello, it's been a while since I posted here and I wanted to know if anyone else has the housefly or any other type of insect as their spirit guide/familiar? And what messages were they telling you or what does that animal represent to you in your life? How do you build a type of friendship or bond with them?

I don't know much about spirit guides or familiars if you want the truth. It's not really something I was actively searching for when I practice. I'm happy I possibly found the one I'm super connected with, but I don't know what they are trying to tell me or what their meanings are.

It may help if you view the representation of your guide as an archetypal form rather than it being a literal earthly bug. Energy is by default formless, and guides are spiritual (energy) beings. So they can consider their own form to be somewhat malleable as they can have some influence on the way they express themselves to you.

For now, I would suggest starting with taking some time to learn about the insect itself. What you learn about its behaviours and traits can reveal some insights about yourself and/or what your guide is wanting to teach. A guide's task is to lead you to yourself, this usually begins by holding up a mirror.
