The following is the description of a spell that can act as the basis of healing.
First you want to stick your left index finger up in the air. Then touch your middle fingers together. Now touch your ring fingers together. Touch your index fingers together. Touch your thumbs together.
Relax and wait two minutes. You then start emit heat from your solar plexus for one minute. After this you will continue to emit heat, but only for another minute. At the same time you still sending healing energies from your solar plexus straight up to your heart or chest. This healing energy heals your body, and emits healing spirit energy up to an inch out from your palms.
To understand the spell better extend your right index and middle finger towards south, and your left index and middle finger towards east, feel the energy on your body, between them and your will be able to see, feel and be one with the form (glyph) of the spell.
You will be able to tap into the healing energy again by turning your left palm down and outward. It takes five seconds to warm up and ten seconds to cool down. But if this energy is not used up it will stay with you for a long time. You will be able to emit two more minutes of the spirit energy through this method. This spell can be repeated every forty minutes, and you can use up to twenty minutes performing the finger touch sequence.
Very interesting, and the poses and gestures make me think it comes from yoga. Specifically the hand gestures as they seem similar to mudras. Am I correct in that assumption?
This is one of four or five spells that I know are related to yoga. But the solar plexus region involved is not really the same location as the solar plexus related chakras. I've only done one real exercise with chakras and I know this does not affect them. It does however use "chakra", the one that has quanta, and is the only spell I know that only uses "chakra" as it is also one of a few jutsu that also constitute as a spell.
Interesting distinction. I suppose thanks to shows like Naruto, the word "chakra" has become synonymous with energy in general. The word originates from sanskrit, and a direct translation would be "wheel" or for some, rotational/spinning movement. Chakras-chakra as a singular- within auyervedic practices refers to the variety of places on the body where energy flows together and around itself.
As far as I am aware, referring to 'chakra' as a supply of energy that gets accessed/used is a creation of the Naruto Shonen series, as a way to explain and showcase the limits of the characters. Much like DragonBall and 'power levels'. Something that is stored and consumed, making a person lose effectiveness if they run out.
Such ideas are interesting to explore, and can make for a useful launchpad. And it obviously takes inspiration from practices and philosophies that currently exist. But I recommend viewing this sort of thing as a starting point. Basic ideas are not bad after all, it just means there is room to grow!
For example, I found a site with a fairly decent (if very basic) primer on chakras and auyerveda;
