Many people on here know who Artemis is, and work with and honor her. However, I am certain there is not many people here you are going to find that are like the maidens and would be willing to take students online, and that goes for any mentoring case.

Amber, vampires don't exist. They are the result of people on the Middle Ages not understanding the normal processes of death. The modern idea of the vampire is based on fantasy novels and Hollywood films. And even if vampires did exist there is no magic nor any spell that could turn you into one.
If you're going by traditional Hellenism, though, most women in Ancient Greece were expected to transfer their devotions to one of the mother goddesses by the time they were about your age or a little younger (old enough for their parents to marry them off back in those days, where only maybe, like, Hypatia had to worry about college and stuff.) There are even some myths of somebody like Aphrodite kind of smiting one of the girls who wanted to stay with Artemis a little longer.
Granted, I don't know if that was actually Aphrodite doing that, or just a story that people made up about Aphrodite just so that young ladies would just do as they're told by ancient Greek society.
If this is your personal gnosis, then it is, but it was always going to be difficult to shut out half the world's human population and then I think gender fluidity is culturally coming back into prominence?
Hi. Hope you meet fellow Artemis worshippers. May you find happiness n joy In The Path. I have been practicing magick since I was 6 years old. I finally membership Signed-up. Having difficulty posting up photo. Blessings.
Artemis has been my Matron Goddess for years and I am a male.
Your name and your profile where you claim to be a hunter of Artemis bring me to believe you have read the Percy Jackson series and decided you know everything there is to know about Greek Mythology.
Matron implies dedication, yes, but also describes the entity rather than the relationship. Grr, the English language.
As I said, if it's Amber's personal gnosis that Artemis is so-and-so way and wants her to do this, that, or the other...then it is.
Some deities demand periods of fasting, or some vow of silence, or veiling...some kind of separation from some aspect of the world. I think the Eleusian Mysteries had some religious rites that were reserved for women only (which didn't stop this one Athenian guy from disguising as a woman to join in on this and then becoming this minor god of marriages...fun story. His name was Hymen.)
So, I can kind of understand some divine mandate or other to separate from whatever. But I don't know... is this personal gnosis? Or is it gender prejudice justified by religion.
Either way, Amber did say please, so as much shade as I've been throwing on the reasoning, I ought to support and respect that personal boundary that she's set out.
She specifically requested (with the term please) for no males to respond to this thread. Regardless of personal feelings towards her choices/upg or whatever you desire to call it, you were not asked for your opinion. She was speaking to a specific group (females) and the interjection of males onto this thread is incredibly disrespectful.
Whilst I may not agree with her upg, it is important for it to be respected.
