Why must people try to control forces of nature?

One really should grasp the fact that nature is a much older, much more powerful force than any single human being. But nature is not completely irrational, perhaps often misunderstood, but can be cooperative. Work with nature, don't try controling it or forcing it to do anything.

I think a lot of people have come to disrespect and put down the power of nature. You can observe, learn from it, work with it, but you can not control it with your will. That is one of the many reasons I do not like kinesis. It assumes you have power over something you do not. It is no different then summoning something. If you see summoning as something wrong, why do you see kinesis differently?

well i believe that summoning is a way to get more friends and help, and for control i see it as a way to get closer to nature.

That makes no sense. If I want to have a relationship with someone, I would give them respect and connect with them. I would not be controlling their life.

nature controls us in a way but most people are now forcing our way to to change it to our needs but that is killing it, i rather use the elements in the magic way then destroy it like most people do. and summoning to me is to bring a creature to you to help you.
