Psionics black or white magic?

i believe i have been using psionics for a while without knowing it, i will hold energy and give it a shape and a will and then either leave it where i made it to work or send it off somewhere, i dont normally use any candles or other such tools, just my brain and energy, would that be considered practicing psionics?

actually yeah that would be considered psionics cuz your using nothing more than your mind to accomplish the task. granted that's only a small part of psionics but it's definitely a great start if you intend to continue with psionics alone

Psionics such a strange term could anyone give me the exact date on when it was used first because this seems very strange

Psionics was coined in the New Age wave of the late 60's early 70's. It is a broad term that classifies a wide range of abilities, such as telekinesis, psychokinesis, and telepathy, that are either latent in an individual or learned through years of practice and exercise.

Psionics are real. Not just a skill in Dungeons and Dragons but an entirely tangible form of mental power. The whole of psionics is based on the "Mind over matter" concept. Some experienced psionics say that a total balance of mind, body, and spirit is required to learn the abilities. Anyone who has ever seen the movie "CARRIE" will know that the title character was a psychokinetic because not only could she control objects with her mind but also people (as seen in the scene where John Travolta's character suddenly swerves and flips his car after Carrie simply glances at the vehicle).

psionics are more real than magic, or how should i say it.
psionics is a way to control things with your mind and also control yourself. having a psionic skill is like the same as having alot knownledge.
magic-> witchcraft is a way to control things asking the gods, godnesses and so on.
there is also a half way kind of style -> usin the universal energy to do things. good example of it is reiki.

nekomata and murderface are both completely correct (though i never knew when the term "psionics" came about) the abilities in psionics are very ranged based on the abilities of the person referred to including, as murder has said, psychokinesis and telepathy, and also
empathy - *actively feel the emotions of another
dreamwalking - *enter into the dreams of another
aura viewing - *seeing the energy field, and colors therein
energy manipulation - (self explanatory)
constructs - *use energy to accomplish a specific task
remote viewing - (aka RV) *see an area not before seen while being at a distance from it
remote presence - *use RV and use an astral form to cause an effect in the area being viewed (i.e. using TK/PK energy manipulation etc)
clairvoyance - *know things about objects, people, places, events etc. without having prior knowledge of it
psychometry - *read an object by touching it (can include actively seeing where the object originated as well as many other possibilities of reading the current owner or previous owners

This is only a short list of possibilities and each one has many different points where one can study further for psychic defense, offense or even possibly universal good

Reiki in its own can be considered a part of psionics only by the fact it is controlled entirely by the mind without outside help from god/esses though it cannot be learned through sheer force of will. The basis of reiki falls under the initiation of the student through the different symbols of reiki and has different levels of skill possible. For those of you interested in learning more about reiki i would suggest that you ask around at magick supply shops. most will have a reiki master/teacher available, or will be more than willing to point you in the right direction to find one. Be forewarned though that the vast majority of reiki master/teachers will expect payment of some form, usually monetary, and this is based on the idea that one must give some form of return so there is no lingering feeling that you "owe" that individual for what they teach you.

Glad to help. and the little tibbit about when the word psionics came around? well my grandparents were new agers during th 60's and 70's and its really funny listening to them reminise.

Its energy manulipation, their is a site just for psionics and it help me alot. psipog.net this site is an archive now but it still has the articles in it, and its not magic.

Psionics, being the practice and study of psychic ability, is something every human can do. It comes from the natural divinity present in every human being, and therefore, isn't magick.
