With all due respect, I think your perception of the G.D. may be a little off. It continues to evolve and grow, and it has it's conflicts too, much as any organization. As far as Crowley and the G.D., I have addressed that elsewhere. Crowley was certainly influenced by the G.D., and was a great magician, but can hardly be called one of the greats ot the G.D. What you say is like saying studying wicca is pointless because the original coven that Gardner formed no longer exists. It's value is in the magicians it has, and continues to, create.
