Hmm... Very good point! Yes, it might be possible that it will come back upon the caster but not in the way they expected. So, if I were to make someones hair fall out through a curse, that means my hair might not fall out like the 3 fold law states or what we percieve; but my hair might get dry and frizzy, I might go gray earlier. Hell! Who know's, my cats hair might fall out! However, if the person truely deserved it or you feel no shame nor guilt of what you did then perhaps it wouldn't come back to you at all! I never really thought of that aspect, thanks! (Yes, I know, bieleve has always been one of those words I can't spell for the life of me. lol! :)
Oh, it cleared the cobwebs, trust me! lol! I agree with you on everything even the karma notion. I think I can slightly entertain the idea that it would come back upon someone who did wrong, maybe not as much as it should or 3x fold, but subtly it might creep in. A man might have done evil his whole life be wealthy, live long and have everything in the world. Yet he might not have love or hope. He could be completely unhappy on the inside, in his own Hell. Now, that I could understand and beileve.Also, I agree it's possible there could be a coven or group with knowing and power that we couldn't even hardly grasp that are in the shadows. Lol, if karma doesn't do the trick black magic will? I like your ways!>:). In all seriousness I feel the same as you on the matter. I think that karma is all what one beileves and percieves. Someone might stub there toe on an object and think it's karma from kicking someone in the face days, weeks, months, even years before. So I agree, it's what you percieve. Just like my father and all his relatives swore up and down that they were taught as kids to never touch a bird or puppy or baby anything because the mother would kill it. It might be true for some wierd animals, but all around it was just an Ol' Wives tale mothers told there children to keep them from playing or accidently hurting baby animals or pissing off the mother. Just someone down the line forgot to tell the kids, now adults that it wasn't true. Thank you for your opinion and post! Much appreciated! :)
I've... seen it both ways honestly. I've come to believe something somewhere in the middle of it really. Karma, the law of three, whatever the heck you want to call it, functions more as a universal balance, rather than a personal one. For every good there must be an evil, but the universe may not dole it out on her own, and even if she does, there's a pretty fair chance she might miss her target.
I agree with Lark about the three-fold law.. I actually used a push karma spell in my earlier years. I didn't have control over my emotions, I let others control how I feel with their actions. Now that I'm older and understand life more, I don't bother pushing karma. I know they will get, or may have already got what they deserve.. About elder witches binding bad ones.. I believe it is entirely possible. The only problem with this is our power comes from us, but through the divine. I don't think I have to describe how hard it would be for an imperfect being to sever a divine link. Also keep in mind the law of balance.. Blessed, we.
