Voodoo Doll

I didn't think voodoo dolls could be used for good purposes such as healing and love.All I've heard of using voodoo dolls for is major hexes and sometimes death!

Yes they can be used for more than just harm. From what I've read and verified from other practitioners, they were originally used in healing. You would stuff the doll with herbs containing natural curative properties.

To the person claiming you do not use pins in a doll.. Where did you get your information? Pins can be used as a means of directing energy. You can also use your finger or another object to do so. Though the stereotypical belief that one "stabbs" someone through the doll with pins is somewhat misleading.

Voodoo dolls are a form of sympathetic magic. One creates a connection to another being, using their likeness. A voodoo doll or poppet can be created out of any formable substance, but they are most often created with cloth and stuffed, or out of wax or wood. They are then stuffed with varous herbs or even personal artifacts to aid in the connection to the person, and to boost any work that is done through them.
