Have the doctor check her for an ear infection. That was what my son had when the same thing happened to him. They frequently happen to otherwise healthy babies.
She might also be teething. My son goes through that kind of thing when he's about to sprout a new tooth. If she'll let you look in her mouth you can usually see if she has a sore swollen spot where a tooth is pushing through. Not a spell but an old home remedy for teething pain is to take some rum and rub it on the baby's gums. Only use a few drops on a clean finger.
Oh and anyone who's upset that I'd suggest such a thing should know it's been used for centuries in many different cultures with no ill effects. There are over the counter baby teething pain relievers yes, but if your baby is like mine and hates the teething gels, or if you prefer home remedies the rum is a good trick.
thankyou,
yeah ill get her checked in the morning if i can actually make her sleep and teething shes four months old, is that too early or on tme to start, im a first time mum so im a bit at a loss

My son got his first tooth at 4 months. It's uncommon but not impossible. However, if she's teething she'll also be showing other signs of it like drooling a bunch and chewing or rubbing her gums on things.
If she has an ear infection, the doctor should be able to tell right away. She'd also probably be pulling on her ears and crying harder when you put her down to sleep. The pressure of an ear infection hurts more when you're lying down.
Understand also if this is your first baby that sometimes they just get into moods and cry for no discernible reason. I'd look into all other things first, but remember that babies don't have any other way to communicate with you so sometimes they just cry and there's nothing you can do.
I have a lot of luck with telepathy with my baby. If you have either telepathy or empathy you can project yourself into her mind or her emotional state and usually get a feel for what's wrong. My son finds it soothing when I do that. Every baby is different.
Finally just remember that if you're doing everything you possibly can and she's still crying it doesn't mean you are a bad parent. Just keep trying things and eventually she'll stop fussing.
yeah she is tugging at her ear and screaming when i put her down now, so ill take her to the doctors. it might help if i put her in bed with me, then i can keep close check when she goes to sleep

I bet it's an ear infection if she's pulling at her ear. Sorry to hear it but they're pretty easy to get rid of with antibiotics. Take her to the doc as soon as possible and till then do whatever you can to make her more comfortable.
pick her up hold her nd walk around the house shake her a bit and give her a dummy , it normally wprks with my baby niece , if that does'nt work check her dyper or give her a bath and try and put her to sleep
