Because many of the events that were recorded in the Bible wouldn't had happened by that time.

then explain this, in early times during the crusades, the church would tell people that they would automatically go to heaven by killing people of a different religion. i havent read the bible recently, but doesnt it say that god is a just, kind, and fair god? kinda conflicting, dont you think?

The church is led by MAN, not G-d, and therefore those were the words of mankind. You cannot blame G-d for this, you can only blame man for their decision. A good quote, "Religion is flawed, but only because man is flawed, ALL MEN"

again about defending god, he made humans in HIS image which means god has flaws to. and again for all we know, the bible was written by douches who wanted to see how far their lie could go.

and for all the catholics, the bible says that catholicism is damnable for the pope and the hierchy in the church. the verses are Revelations 22:18-19

One can make a painting in the image of another portrait, but it can be made more abstract, with different colors, or even with different strokes. It does not mean G-d made us exactly like G-d.
