About what you wrote, especially the part (propper grammar)are you telling us if is not in proper grammar the spell is not going to work?? have you ever read a real Book of Shadows written by real witches that goes back in the time of the Witches of Salem?? I have and believe me you would go crazy trying to figure out some words because they did not know how to spell.
I have a Book of Shadows handed down from my ancestors over 300 years old and the same here.

I agree with isisa, many book of shadows do not have proper grammar. I also think that spells that involve things that are not scientifically proven still have a chance to work, but you have to use your knowledge to know which spells will not work. I agree with mind control, there is no way(yet) for someone to control a persons mind. I will also suggest to check out spells that are rated high, those are the ones that mostly work.

I understand your point of view. You also have to use a wonderful thing called common sense when it comes to spells. I forgot to put that in the article.

I have to agree, using improper grammar (some people may be using translation programs or English may be their second language, that doesn't make them fluffy) or text speak doesn't mean the spell won't work. I know there's a lot of fake and fluff "spells" here, but I've also found good spells. It's one thing to say you can't be a vampire, and another to say because people post vampire spells the others will work either.
But this thread is a great idea. People do ask these questions a lot and it will be nice to direct them somewhere rather than repeating the answers daily.

You've all made good points. We know definetly that mythical creatures spells are fluff.
