I have to disagree with you Weed is not bad for your body but for others its a way to get rid of the physical, pain in the body I know this because i have been smoking since i have been diagnosed in 1995 with FMS (muscle Arthritis)Osteoarthritis(attacks the bones) and finally Rheumatoid arthritis(attacks the immune system) and I have been smoking since then. We live on the west coast so we have our medical marijuana cards. And It helps greatly and its a healing herb.
Weed has a very low addiction rate, much lower compared to nicotine. That being said, what toxic effect it may have is usually considered completely on the one smoking it and not to be blamed for the addiction.
Now whether weed is bad or not is completely, and by completely I mean totally subjective. It is entirely based on who you're asking. Many people will tell you weed is wonderful, others will say it's a disgusting drug that soils your body.
Honestly, while I have no desire to try weed I wouldn't call it necessarily "bad" in smaller doses. If you limit yourself and don't smoke many of the processed forms and mainly stick to the more organic types you should be fine with little to no medical related issues to follow.
I would however check to make sure you aren't allergic using a tiny taste of it before full out smoking any larger amounts.
Be smart, don't smoke it until you're permanently high or anything because it does effect your brain and your personality.
"Be smart, don't smoke it until you're permanently high or anything because it does effect your brain and your personality."
... Marijuana cannot cause a permanent high, it affects short-term (not long-term) memory only while high, and I have never read, seen, experienced, or witnessed anything which would suggest a negative affect on he personality. In fact, this is one of the noted ways cannabis is different from alcohol; being drunk on alcohol can radically change your personality, including turning you into a very different person (like people only mean when drunk). Compare to marijuana which tends to just relax you and then accentuate whatever personality you have sober. If you are artistic now, high you'll be really artistic. Like politics now, high you won't be able to stop talking about it. Like religion now, high you'll study karma for 4 hours.
None of this is to suggest that marijuana is completely free from ills, those just aren't it.
i do have to admit that i have been smoking weed for around 28 years now and that is not every day i have long periods without having any but i now use it not just for the head thing but now that i have atheritus (sorry am dyslexic and my spelling is somewhat crap ) my fingers hurt so bad when the weather is damp but when i smoke my booda (weed) the pain is not so very bad , but if i smoked it all the time it would not be as affective so i choose my time but it is not for every one, and i do not promote it . but it can help.
Marijuana and other inhalants strain oxygen flow to the brain. The high people experience is a combination of both chemical reaction and a process similar to suffocation. Now, becoming permanently 'high' is not possible as you snobbishly pointed out, but the phrase I used was used in reference to the permanent damage constant smoking can cause.
My point, was that one should not smoke every second of every day. A person should limit what they inhale that our bodies are not designed to breath.
Some Shamanic peoples use substances, such as ayahuasca ( ayahuasca meaning, "little death" is very dangerous) or even weed. In my opinion, if you need substances to focus better, then you may be better off figuring out other ways to get into it, try meditating, with a clear mind.
