To be clear I wouldn't play around with anyone's time just for attention. I'd go get a manicure if I needed attention. I have a genuine interest in learning about these things. I am brand new and am weeding through sources to find credible ones. So if something I ask about sounds ridiculous its because I don't know any better. Which i s why I asked!!

This just depends on what type of Voodoo that the Voodoo Priestess practices. I know that there are some that practice and live very seclusion without any man at all and then there are some that practice and believe to serve the community and themselves as a whole.

Any type of Vodou is for the community. Certain practices are observed in the religion because it isabout being a community.

That is quite ridiculous, Kim. I believe that you have enough intelligence to know that is quite impossible. I'm not going to say that there aren't many workings to call men to you, such as perfumes. But nothing to the extent of having anyone you wish with a wave of a hand..

I don't think they meant the passages literally and I'm sure I didn't take them that way. I was asking if there was truth behind what was implied.

The site looks pretty iffy to me. Vodou is one of many community based religions, so a priestess isolating herself would seem counterproductive.

I agree. I could be wrong but they seem like they are preying on the desperate to make money and making up stuff as they go. Solely my opinion.

I know of a few good witches who stay away from relationships with men.One because they just do not care to be in a relationship or care about sex. Also they prefer to use their energy for healings and magical workings.

I'm a Voodoo priestess and I don't live in selecusion, though you might find those who differ.
