Immortality is living forever right? We all at some point wish to live forever. Well, what if we could? I think I found a way of gainning immortality. Its just a theory and I myself refuse to test it out because I really don't want to live forever. Not even kinda sorta.
So, basically here is my idea.
A individual can create a thoughtform yes? It is a being infused with your energy and in essence is a part of your consciousness from what I understand of how one makes a thoughtform.
So, from what I understand of from where gods/goddesses come from, they are in essense, thoughtforms that have gained a higher level of conciousness than an normal individual's created thoughtform and they are also worshipped which makes a difference, however for them to exist they need not be worshipped or if they are they are worshipped they can be worshipped in a form other than what they truely are, as long as the concept of what is being worshipped is the same.
Therefore, one could, if they were wise/learned/whatever enought to create a thoughtform, infuse it with a greater level of consciousness all before that individual died, a part of them would live on forever. That is my theory at least.
Note: I do *not* think a fluffy/newbie/beginner could do this. This would have to be something you understand quite well and I myself understand it as a theory, I'm not sure exactly how one would go about making a more conscious thoughtform without it getting outta control, unless you did so right before you died.
Feel free to critize as you see fit, or ask for a better explanation, it is kinda hard to flesh out this theory of mine when I haven't tested it as of yet and never intend to.

A nice little theory, however, thoughtforms, like children, once made become different to you, they have their own experiences and grow into their own being, so whilst a piece of you might remain, as a piece of the parent stays within the child, the thoughtform will end up being entirely different to what you expect
You also ignore the fact that although the physical body dies, the soul continues and is reborn in a new physical form. Immortality would defeat the whole purpose of the cycle of rebirth.
Well, technically speaking as we go through each cycle we become an new individual. Based on my theory one could create an entity more like one's self this way than through the reincarnation of the soul. It is a way of existing forever outside of the cycle of rebirth. Also, rebrith is not really immortality either. ;)
That is simply increasing the life span of the body.In older generations,it is said that they used biokinesis to mutate necessary bacterias. Not sure if it were the shamans or ancient civilisations like the mayans. No not 2012 topic.
Yes,it does seem to be immortality but it defeats the purpose of being not knowing yourself more. The cycle of Rebirth is where we learn from our sins and everyday activities including those bad moments.Hence when we are ready to let go off everything. We fall under a deep sleep(sometimes) until a body is produced. From there on,we will learn different values.
As for thoughtforms. Some are actually shaped by fears of people. That's why you see people being "possessed" by their so called demons.I'm not saying that thoughtforms are bad.Everything needs to have a control through understanding.

Well, as the thoughtform is not technically you, your soul would continue to go through the cycle of rebirth, however a part of your consciousness would remain present in the thoughtform. Also, I will admit that this theory is flawed in that once you create that consciousness you no longer have control over what it may become. Chances are it could branch off an entirely different way and become something entirely different from yourself, however I feel that even so you retain this idea of Immortality in that it allows something of you to remain behind for all time. If you do it right that is my theory at least. As I said I have no desire to try. ;)
well, this miy or may not be going off topic, but here are my thoughts on imortality,
invincability, impossoble in this existance, how ever, the body never wasteing away...this i have some thoughts, noew, how we age and grow older yadda yadda is based on chemicals produced and releaced in the brain, and at a ceirtan age, the brain stops produceing them, so, if one were to acheive a ceirtain level of mastery in, biokenisses i think? ibeleive one could change your chemical makeup to program your brain to continue produce ing thease chemicals, now, wot this will do, i beleive will keep the body phisicaly fit and ect, tho you will still need to keep your body phisicaly fit and ect, and you may or may not look like an 80 year old man with the phisice of a, how ever old you were when you started this, now, this therory should only prevent one of dieing from old age, other than that, your still a normal human, any thoughts?
Yes, I think you could. But it would take a extensive knowledge of the body and chemistry. I think it is possible *if* we knew all the chemicals that do that as well as how they interact. I don't think someone could do this at this point in time and I also don't think they could refine this skill to that level until they were older. Also, it isn't really immortality as one would be subject to death/dying of causes other than old age.
