You would likely experience some sensation indicating the spirit's presence. This can present it in a wide range of possible sensations, from chills, tingles, etc. indicative of a sentient entity, fluctuations in emotion like was triggered by the entities presence/will, so on so forth. You might even "see" it, or be able to scry it, or otherwise observe it in a more tangible fashion.
You will feel his presence, they do not always come to people from right hand paths but he probably will. As long as you have called upon him successfuly
