Hey everyone, I fear I might be in a bit of trouble and could use a bit of help.
I have a tattoo i got with emotional meaning behind it, recently it has been severely hurting. Today it reached unbearable. I got this tattoo months ago, it healed perfectly. My friend checked the energy, apparently its as if cords are going out from it.

Magick tattoos are to be chosen very carefully. Some symbols just shouldn't be on the body permanently or at all. If it is causing you trouble, I suggest doing more research on the symbol and find a way to counterbalance it with another symbol or remove it all together. Test counterbalancing symbols by drawing them on yourself with something washable, I would use waterproof liquid eyeliner.
Where the tattoo is located will also have meaning. Various parts of the body are connected to different keys to emotional and mental influencement.

The arms are a symbol of protection, strength, action, energy, divine nature, and accomplishment.
On our right arm would influence what we put out (our actions and energy). The right arm/hand is an extension of the will and of intention. On our left arm, it would influence us inwardly (emotions and thoughts) because this is our receptive side.
The ankle is a sexual symbol and is also associated with transcendence
Shoulder is a symbol of strength and power.
Just a quick note,
By putting a symbol into our skin, we are negating the protection that our skin represents. By having ourself tattooed, we accept that symbol's energy into our bodies, allowing it to effect us fully spiritually. Most magickal tattoos are carefully selected and tested with marker, henna, or some other long lasting but easily removed medium. If they work really well for you, over weeks or even months, then you can consider making it a permanent part of your body.

In magic: the gathering it symbolizes poison. The deck I was hugely into was poison so I got the tattoo, as well as trying to keep poisons out of my life. My fiancee had just left me, so it was a reminder to keep her out.
Well as these things go we got back together and the tattoo stayed. Flash foreward 5 months, she leaves me and the tattoo starts to hurt.
Today it hurt extremely and it hasnt hurt in awhile. My circle and I can sense magick. Unfortunately I cant see, though my friend who can said " a collection of wires like in The Matrix films"

It sounds like something is in your life right now that could be considered "poisonous" to you. Especially since you regard your ex fiance as poison, this could be a person. Has anyone recently entered your life or become more involved?
I would suggest using a crystal such as a lodestone to lay over it, in order to rebalance and remove any energy this symbol has collected. I suspect that it collects energy in order to protect you, and like any amulet, it needs to be maintained. It must have been struck by a great deal of "poisonous" energy. If it were an object, it may have broken, but since it is apart of your skin, it causes pain.
Visit an acupuncturist. Oftentimes scars, tatoos, and surgeries can rearrange the lines of meridians that travel through the affected areas. An acupuncturist can reconnect these pathways easily and relatively painlessly.
