to my belief a similar type of werewolf does exist but lycan like in the movie underworld maybe not

I believe the concept got misplaced from possible hairy people or something in the dark ages bring the concept of lycans and what they can do to be honest.

i dont believe that is true you can become a wolf in this plane but it'll be very difficult

depends on what happens, like my friend doesnt feel pain much, which if he started to shift he probably most likely survive and over time get use to it and wont feel the pain at all

Yeah...breaking your bones and reshaping them just seems like something that you would get over the pain pretty quickly. Not to mention changing where your internal organs are. What a wonderful ride it must be.

well you might not necessary have to break and reshape your bones and you also dont have to get new organs. wolves and humans have similar organs.
