Herbal Medicine Unit Conversions

Here is the standard list of measurements that I use in my practice of herbal medicine. Keep in mind these are for US measurements. Also note different practices and schools of herbal medicine use other measurements.

64 236 8 236-320 1 Cups

Note* The difference between dropperfulls will depend on the liquid volume capacity of the dropper your using some come standardized at i Milliliter other fall short between 1/2 or 3/4 of a Milliliter, also note that milliliters are rounded to the nearest tenth.

16 oz. or 2 Cups equals 1 Pint

32 oz. or 2 Pints equals 1 Quart

128 oz. or 4 Quarts equals 1 Gallon

A note regarding formatting, the way I had formatted the table, and the way it is displayed now may be misleading, but use common sense.

For example the first line of the chart should read out like this:

2 Drams = 7 Milliliters = 1/4 oz. = 7-10 Dropperfulls = 1 1/2 Teaspoons

Sorry for the inconvenience, it would be much easier if we were able to create tables within posts.
