Basic Sage Cleansing...

I plan on doing this tonight, but thought I'd ask if anyone has tried using it before and if it's worked for anyone? I was going to do another basic one which involved going around to each room with a smudge stick but I feel this one would work better as there is known negativity in our home.

I don't use this method as nature has not quite graced me with a large feather yet, however, I just light a stick of smudge with a lighter and wave it around doing the same thing with similar words.

I am willing to bet that it will work for you :) Nothing like a good smudging.

My mother used a bundle of dried sage, she lit the top, like insence sticks, and chanted "leave this place" and that worked. Good luck!

i use a sage smudge stick, but this is another method that works well. just remember you should also cast a protection spell or hang a charm to protect your house because the cleansing will get rid of whatever might be in your house, but it can return after a while.

I like making them with a little bit of lavender in it and I not only as to leave but then ask my ancestors to help protect my home. I have not yet had a problem. :)

This cleansing did work for me, but seems they have came back. I have to do it again and this time do a home protection spell right after. Probably will put some salt around the house again as well. Only thing I'm worried about is I read some where about not lighting sage around cats because it's not good for them. Anyone know more about this?
