Infected Cut

Ingredients
Spruce/Pine Gum
Peppermint Leaves
Instructions
This is fairly simple. What you need to do is collect a whack load of Spruce or Pine gum. Generally Pine is better, but Spruce is more common. It depends where you live or where you have access to the trees. Make sure the gum is fairly clean. Put it in a bucket and put it over a fire. Heat it up so its nice and hot. While doing this, visualize all the negative stuff leaving the gum
Next, get some peppermint leaves. Make sure that they are clean, fresh, and are not spotched. If they have brown spots, don't use it. Find an all over green leaf. It might be best to try and find a couple just in case. Wash it thoroughly. Make sure you don't break it or make it too thin from washing.
Heat up the gum again but make sure it isn't too hot. Make it comfortably warm. Pour it on the infected cut. From there, smear some around the edges and stick the peppermint leaf on it. The gum around the edge is to make sure it sticks.
After a couple days, check it. If its still kind of gross and infected, try again. If this doesn't work again, Id suggest seeing a general practitioner.

I normally use oatmeal and honey for their ability to draw out infection. Honey also as antibiotic and other healing properties. Thyme (Thymus vulgares) for it's antibiotic, antiviral, antifungal, and antimicrobial properties. Plantain (Plantago major) for it's detoxification and healing properties. Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) for it's antibiotic and healing properties. Calendula (Calendula officinalis) for it's healing properties.

Grind all the herb together with the oatmeal and add the honey until you have a thick paste. Apply generously to the wound and cover with a bandage. You may want to cover the bandage with plastic if wearing it to bed as it can seep through and become sticky. Leave in place/reapply as needed until healed.

I want to add that manuka honey in paticular has antibiotic properties as well as oil of oregano. The latter I have used a few times when I have been ill with success.
