hi I'm new to all of this I've only been practicing for a month or two and I wanted to know of a basic potion to create. I would appreciate all the help I can get.

I would consider learning more about the basics about magick. Examples: meditation, energy work and manipulation, moon phases, what colors mean, circle casting and more.
Potion making is not like what you see on TV. It requires determination and patience. If you are interested in potion making learn more about what the magickal properties of herbs are . -Tara

Hi :)

I have two potions.

One is a potion for power,
another is for wealth and luck (a two in one)

yet, these are really basic potions

Anyway, mail me if you'd like :)

You may want to start researching the magical properties of herbs and flora before potion making. I would never suggest making a potion your first time around before you even know what each ingredient is for or if it may be poisons.

This is one of many great herb resources online : http://www.themagickalcat.com/Articles.asp?ID=242

Just research as much as you can about herbs, flora, spices, potion making as well as generic foundation practices like meditation. I know it may sound stupid to say this, but don't drink a potion with potentially harmful ingredients in it. Just be safe. :)

Potions are basically any fluid used magically. While taking a cleansing or detox bath one is essentially soaking in a large potion. (Epsom salts, baking soda, and a few drops of lavender oil) The tea one makes with a premade bag of chamomile, water, sugar, and lemon is also a potion. Knowledge of herbs and other ingredients is essential to potion making. One can also make a potion with crystal energy infused water by placing a cleansed and charged piece of amethyst in spring water.
