I know that the title doesn't make sense, but hear me out.
I have been having the same dream for months, and it consists of the same details:
I am in a dark wooded grove that has a massive oak stump. Across the grove a large black wolf exits the trees and jumps onto the stump. The wolf seats itself in front of me, and stares intently at me with its blood red eyes.
Is this wolf my Spirit Guide, or is this a message for me?
That is something you will have to find from inside yourself. That, I think, is the toughest part about dreams. It could be your guide, a totem, some aspect of yourself, something challenging you need to face, and so on.
Consider how you feel in the dreams. If it is very realistic, I imagine you'll have a bit of an adrenaline rush, but there may be more to it than that.
Does the wolf just stare?
Is it in the path you are taking in the dream, or is the grove a place you seem to be spending time?
Is that the only aspect of the dream?
If you can break into any level of lucidity, you can ask the wolf questions. Sometimes one before it becomes too mentally involved (at least I have the tendency to wake up from lucid dreams from trying too hard sometimes).
Maybe meditate, visualize traveling to the grove, and resting in view of the stump. Don't force the vision of the wolf to arrive, but see if it comes. In your meditative state, it is a good time to ask questions:
"Are you my guide?"
"What do you want me to learn?"
et cetera.
I have meditated on the dream, and yes the wolf just sits and stares. At first I was afraid of it, but now I feel like we have a telepathic connection. The wolf doesn't seem to use words, only impressions like images, scents and sounds.
None of my Spirit Creatures are wolves, and it hasn't given me a definite feeling that its my Guide.
Wolf in sleep can have the meaning of enemy and thiefs it can be warning to you cause you saw it several times but it may be showing you your spritual animal2
only animals ever appear in my dreams are spiders and i honestly have arhnophobia...and snakes which i like, but in my dreams they are always agressive, when it comes to lucid dreaming i often have dreams where i physicly feel things, or hurt myself sense or see non existing things, don t even know am i awake or sleeping. it is called parasomnia. i wonder though how much is just cause of our mind where we think, get stressed and things like that and where is to consider existance of spirtual world.
