Well I have been trying to ap for a couple of years without sucess. I have only reached vibration state 3 times.
I was thinking that it must be something wrong with me but I still stay patience. But a week ago I decided to try ap after smoking cannabis.
My first reaction was wow. I reached the vibrational state so fast that I almost got schocked did not even need to use a method I could feel my astral body separating from my physical body, I could see my self separating it was like I could see my astral body floating up from my body but then something happened. I think that because of me inducing cannabis it made me feel scared when I saw all that. It happened so quick and then I was back to my physical body and also opened my eyes by reaction. It made me so mad.
How can I successfully ap without the need to induce cannabis?
Should I try it again after smoking?

The use of drugs does alter the state your brain is in a lot faster than other methods if you are new to projection, however, there are some key points to keep in mind.
The law regarding cannabis use where you live will have to factor first.
What you're experiencing or trying to experience, from what you have written, is etheric projection rather than astral projection. The distinction is typically that EP is still tied to the physical plane of existence.
What you experience may or may not be projection at all, though you will have to confirm or deny this for yourself upon further experiences.
Different substances will have different effects on you physically (and highly possibly spiritually as well).
You can reach altered states of consciousness without substance use through deep meditation and trance. It is a lot easier for many people this way.
Not everyone experiences projection in a vibrational manner. The physical sensation is merely an aid and not what you should be focusing on. You'll get the hang of it once you are able to project more when you can recognize and differentiate different aspects of projection, what it feels like to you, and the like.
Now to answer your other questions more fully, trying again after usage is fully on you. To reach altered states of consciousness, there are several ways that you can research and begin to practice. Some examples of aids in trance and deep meditation are as follows:
Rhythm
Music
Sensory deprivation
Hypnogogia/Hypnopompia (the state of falling asleep and waking up, respectively)
Guided works (visualization, audio recordings, basic structure for you to follow)
Relaxation of the body
Immersing your entire body in the energy you sense (webs and waves are often used here as feelings to emulate)
Now to distinguish between waking state and altered states of consciousness; we cycle through each state everyday, so the easiest way to learn achieving an altered state is to recognize what you already know. When we use our concentration for mundane tasks like typing this thread, washing dishes, or writing in a notebook, we are in the Beta brainwave state. When our body and attention are a little more relaxed and we start experiencing more creativity, we typically are in the Alpha brainwave state (this is often considered a light meditative state optimal for psychic work). When we are in a state of deeper relaxation or are dreaming, this is considered the Theta brainwave state (where I suggest you want to be for projection). The Delta brainwave state is deep and dreamless sleep. There isn't typically much usage of spiritual practice in this brainwave state.
Also be careful with the use of cannabis or/and especially any other drug. You could suspend your mind in a state that won't recognize it's trying to Astral project or be able to meditate or think correctly unless it has its drug. Or you may seduce your brain into thinking your doing Astral projection and could just be having a whole other experience altogether. Spiritual connections have negative effects of addiction as well not saying your addicted. Just trying to be helpful. This is also exactly what Eissy was describing in the first set of Bullet points. Just a little more Lehman. Im not very eloquent. You'll have to forgive me.

Interesting, "I" always heard that use any kind of drugs are not recommended, including for this kind of practice. Since AP IS not lucid dream, and you usually have to remain control of your 'astral body' and control the vibration to have access to the 'other' plane..Just be aware to not confused this 'vibe' with lucid dream.
