Hello everyone. Zanuff50 here. I'm new to these forums as well as magic and I was wondering if anybody (mentor) that has the skills to take me under their wing. I wanted to do the spell to heal a broken heart on myself. Unfortunately I don't have any magical energy nor do I really know how to build it.....

First, get a petrified wood piece and keep it near you. The vibrations from this is said to heal a broken heart.
Now, to learn about magick, go to forums. In the General Info section, find Basics Expanded. Read, study, learn, then practice. This will teach you about understanding magick. Read all you can about it, so you get the gyst of it, so you know what you can do with it. Good luck!
