I noticed alot of members like dark magic, they appear scary and they all about demons, well I'm here to tell you dark magic has nothing to do with both, at least not the way you think, the most scariest things I ever seen was the spirits don't move at all , I think dark magic about the opposite of light and observing the light, Babyloins use to think light is a language darkness is just a vehicle
Well not to sound like a broken record but 'magick has no colour, only intent'. Most people think 'dark magick' is 'cool' that's why they cast. You could argue most spells are 'dark magick' what with a person's free will in play.
Well put neko that's excatly right , its all about intent , if your evil that is dark magic* now I do believe where all kinda connected, if one Is part evil, that person can leak some bad intentons into another... But that's another thing..
Color, light, dark, its all about balance and intent. Just as everyone has certain personal beliefs or codes they follow. It provides balance you can't have one without the other. There are things that I do not do or practice because of my belief system but that is my free will just like it is anyone eles's free will. Do I believe in consequences for messing with someone's free will absolutely.
People get caught up in their own nonsense, or the nonsense which they have received and integrated into their thinking, that they begin to start making logical fallacies. In this case, false dichotomy, or categorising something in terms of a or b, when in fact there are multiple ways of categorising it and it is dependent on the individual.
The reason why the occult is out with the dishwater today is because you have people, usually half-baked witches who know next to nothing about real magic, writing books and using words which they provide no definition for. If we looked at older books on magic written by the real greats you will find that they define everything. Why? Because they realised magic is an individual subject and that one term can mean something very different to another person.
Dark magic/black magic is no exception to this rule. What one person views as evil is not universally viewed as evil. Good, evil, right, or wrong are all subjective constructs either created y the individual or inserted into their being via socialisation.
So this "Magic has no colour, it is just intent" is truly a broken record. Yes, it's true, but people have been using the terms of colour for over a century, and why they should stop is beyond me so long as they explain. The only reason it's disliked on this site is because someone probably raised an issue and everyone else wanted to lick their boots and appease the crowd. That's usually the case on this site, one member who is perceived as (rather than actually being) knowledgeable , says something and the sheep follow.
