Imagery friend or other

When I was younger I had an imaginary friend named buddy
He had the face of an owl and the body of a short human man
He seemed so real and vivid then I grew up and forgot him
Recently 35 Years later,I was doing some black mirror and saw him again, is he a spiritual guide,or Demon guide or just in my head?
I have also been doing many invocations and doing the Bornless ritual lately.

It's not uncommon to hear reports of children seeing spiritual entities then "losing" this ability of sight as the child grows. It's possible for him to be a Spiritual Guide, or just a random spirit that you made contact with. I wouldn't discount him being a delusion though. I'd say it's a possibility either way. I'd recommend treading with caution as well. Hope I was of some help.

How Do I make the connection as strong as when I was a kid?

Although I understand the approach, trying to go back to a childhood way of looking at things may not be the way to go. You've changed significantly since you were last in contact with him. Try rebuilding a relationship with him the way you are now. You already found him breifly through scrying, so start there. I do stress caution however, it may have only been a psychological phenomenon and you dont want to be drawn in to deep. Think of it as getting to know an old friend from long ago, so start a convo with him little by little through scrying again.
