How to get a good rep

Hello and welcome to my thread
This is for all you people who are confused about the reputation system.

Well as you have probably seen on the website you will see some people here have a reputation. They will either be ranked between fluffy or knowledgeable. The fluffy reputation is invisible to most and only the knowledgeable can see and rank other people on how they conduct them selves here on spells of magic.

Well how do i get a rep?
To get a good rep, you need to show maturity and strut your stuff and show people what you know. You will also need to give other people credit for their ideas that you might get from people. Trust me it helps and you are more likely to make more freinds that way. Your profile helps too. Based on what you write on your profile could mean the difference between a fluffy reputation and a knowledgeable reputation.

What do i mean by a bad reputation?

Well a bad reputation is where someone is a nuesence and comes out with rediculas statements like i'm a vampire or something along those lines and refuses to accept they are wrong.

Great post! I don't think anyone's really talked about how to get a rank or how to be voted on.

Also sometimes people can get a good rep as long as someone else votes on their rank. I don't know how I got mine, but thanks for who ever thought I was worthy of Novice. (Although it is just a forum rank, it still means that person thought one would be fitting for what ever that reputation is defined as)

Having the right aim/intention helps a lot as well, such as wanting to help others/wanting to learn and discover and although that takes some work or even hard work, its worth it.

Get a rep but adding useful posts
On the boards and many say in chat
Personally I don't do the chat thing
I'm a new Yorker,twelve years of text speaking I can't help myself
When typing so fast,slang will be automatic
Just contributed and you will be ranked if someone feels you should be.Be careful in chat,we lose a lot of good members by accidentally
Word stretching or text speaking.

If you want a rep, work hard, learn, and share your knowledge.
