Hi, I have the same problem. My family is Christian, and I know they type of magick I'm practicing isn't against God, but I'm afraid of what they would say. They would probably have a roller coaster of emotions, which I don't like because I'm an empath, and I don't know what they would do! I am just trying to keep it a secret from them as long as possible.

Well I told my parents the secerat over dinner at a public place.they took it well.. As for ur parents I haven't told them I joined the site. Course than again I don't think care what I due as long as I don't break the law.

I agree with you. When you feel the time is right, then I would tell them. If you really do want to tell them, the drop little hints, like ask them about magick, or tell them about a magickal creature every now and again.

Douches! Tell them that you want to explore a bit! After all, if you keep things, according to Christianity you have sinned! Or learn to heal and heal someone infront of them.. Pray to your Lord and ask for guidance maybe? That's all I can help you with I'm afraid, good luck anyhow..

Well you could do as, umm sorry forgot the name, described and drop hints. Or if you're just going to get it out all at once you could just blurt it out(not too suave but it workds sometimes) or you could start by asking them a question/test the waters.

"Hey Mom, what do you think of magic?"
"It's evil."

Not too good of a secenario, eh? But it could go better. They could describe what they think good or bad. Or they might not know what you're talking about. They might think of "Harry Potter" / Abra Cadabra type of stuff and you'll have to explain what you mean. Either way you'll know exactly what they think and you could decide to tell them then or waite for another day.
