Well, you should learn the basics first before attempting any spells. But assuming you've done this you should probably follow the instructions? Most spells come with instructions so you shoud do whatever, the spell you're attempting to cast, says.

Iam, that is not how magic works. Begin with study, and practice of the basics. When you are ready, you will know well enough what you are doing to not have to ask what is or is not possible with magic.

When beginning, you shouldn't start with spells; you should begin, as stated above, with learning the basics. Although the basics may differ greatly, in general terms, you should understand how Magick works and it's limits. This path takes study, research and lots of reading; not something you jump into out of the blue.

Once you get those things out of the way, you won't have much need for asking about spells.

Adam, you're better off starting a thread than hiajcking someone else's to change the topic.

If you're looking for a banishing ritual, there are plenty out there from smudging to elaborate rituals based on some specific traditions and symbolism.

You cannot cast a fire spell to makes fire appear infront of your hands out of nowhere. This is not fantasy or Harry Potter. This is real magick. Most of this stuff is fake.

As for your first spell. You need to learn your basics of magick.

I think, this depend in part of the type of spell...If simple, just cast it.
