Do your research! Gather as much information as you possibly can starting with the things you are interested in. Gathering as much knowledge as you can will help you decide what to do and help you in your spiritual growth. Try looking around in articles and groups, get some good books, and look around on the web. Be safe and have a good day c:

Hello, Loneowl, I've taken a look at your profile and the first thing that I would suggest that you do is to put a picture or avatar that you would like to represent you, and create a profile explaining what type of magic you are interested in, and if you want to you can even choose a coven to join, after that the most important thing you can do is to read some books, Scott Cunningham has good information in his books, but the main thing is to choose a path that you would like to follow and obtain as much knowledge as you can about it,

Blessed be.

Read, read, read, read, and then read some more. Read the good stuff, the bad stuff and the ugly stuff. Follow up on what sources you can, and use your common sense.

Now that we got that out of the way, one you've moved along and read a bit don't be hesitant to get your hands dirty. By which I mean, don't wait for the perfect moment and don't be scared to try things out. My biggest forewarning is that you should be ready to make mistakes, they will make you great and experienced.

Some practices that relatively simple and harmless are divination and cleansing. They might be worth looking into.
