Fire Fairies: Define?
By:
I'm working on a book and I'm looking for information on two types of fire elementals: farralis and ra-arus. Only problem is that all the websites are copying the book I'm basing my story off in the first place with the following passages:

Fire Elementals: Fire elementals are full of courage and imagination. No fire can be started without the help of a Fire Elemental.
Farralis: No fire would be ignite without them.
Ra-Arus: They believe that with courage, anything can be done. They motivate humans to get the job done and follow their dreams.

If someone can find a reliable source that does NOT copy word for word what is said here, I will be most grateful.

Well, I have never seen a division among salamanders, but I will say Fire Fairies =/= Fire Elemental.

You've researched enough. This is the point, in my opinion, where you must begin practicing, and evoking fire elementals(start with Djin, their monarch).

To Know, To Dare, to Will, and To Be Silent.

You've completed the first part of the creed, by researching, maybe even asking your allies. Now, is to Dare, call upon them.

I don't see the point in evoking any spirits just for a book, unless you have a ritual you need elementals to be present for or want a relationship with them.

As someone who often works using elements and with elementals, I have never heard of Fire elementals called farralis or ra-arus.

I did do a google search and found absolutely nothing, except some information on unsafe, unreliable sites.

I would recommend looking into salamanders a bit. There is far more information on them.

I wasn't mentioning evoking to get a book. I was mentioning evoking in order to ask the question and get the answer. Ultimately, it can also be used to form a friendship.

well, then I'm at a loss. Then again, the book I'm using is Scholastic for little kids, but I'd hoped the information was at the very least accurate in the names. I'm not looking to summon them, sorry, I'm just trying to get a brief overview.

I would guess it's not the most reliable source.

Then again, you have a creative license. You can make stuff up, especially when it comes to entities that I'm fairly sure don't exist, so you have no risk of offending.

Which is why it takes skill to identify what you are imagining, and what you are receiving.

Receive something that contradicts what appears in the worlds of other magicians or mainstream occultism. And that should be no problem, as long as it works. As long as the spirit provides with reliable information, and brings results. After all, the focus is on the result.

So the motto should be ''whatever works''.

You getting different information, is simply a matter of the Assemblage Point and Subjective Universes.

If your looking into Fire spirits and fire elementals.. hopefully the following can help ..

Fire Elementals:
" The forces of nature are often classified according to one of the four kinds of expression- earth, water, air, and fire. Operating at the most primal level with these expressions of force in the natural world are beings called elementals. ... Those working with the expression of fire are the salamanders.... Elementals are building blocks of nature. They are close to being true energy and consciousness, and they have not developed enough to truly take on a personality."

In the book ( which is where I got that ^ ) Enchantment of the Faerie Realm by Ted Andrew's. He explains elementals to be a part of us as humans. Each elemental has its corresponding element, they are a part of what we are a humans. Everyone has elementals in us. However, elementals can be true energy on themselves. Fire elementals are commonly known as Salamanders. They can be called different names depending upon their purpose. As a part of us they are mostly known as Salamanders. Fire elementals are belonging and workings of the element fire. If you can understand the basics of fire as an element and a being then you can work from there

On the other hand...

Fire spirits:
Fire spirits is a broader world... Fire spirits can be anything from higher fire elementals ( ones not connected with a human ), fire jin, Phoenix, sometimes the griffin, and other such creatures that resonate with fire , ( elves, gnomes, dwarves, extra ). Fire spirits in my opinion are easier to work with in your book, because you pick the one or ones you wish to work with and do research from there.

I hope that helped, and you should definitely check out the mentioned book. It shall be helpful.....

Blessed Be
