Went in my room to lay down. After what seemed 15mins. The room appeared to be lit. I heard loud frequencies that engulfed the entire room. In front of me what appeared to be a portal opened up. From it came all types of different colors. From the center left were two beings that were at a distance. They looked black and humanoid. I felt a calm and warmth sweep over my whole body. I do not know how to describe but I was not afraid but terribly shocked. They were speaking to each other telepathically. I do not know what they were saying for the most part as it wasn't English. I felt that they wanted to show me something, but I couldn't speak or move or do anything. They said to each other and to me that "I was not ready yet". In that instant they left and I haven't seen them since. However, I keep seeing the number 29 everywhere I go. Please this was my first experience ever with anything supernatural. What was it and what should I do about it?
Well... I think that there are two ways that this event could be interpreted. Symbolically, similar to a dream. Or as a literal experience.
Symbolically, portals and gateways tend to represent transition. Having a portal like the one you describe makes me think of the 'tunnel of light' people have described when in a near-death state. This isn't to imply that you entered a death state... but that there might be some impending and significant life change on the horizon. And the pair of beings on the other side could be a recognition of unknown possibilities. But your failure to act on it could signify that while you are aware of a choice to make, something about it... some uncertainty... is making you hold yourself back. Considering the overtones of light, transition, and positive energy it might have to do with your spiritual path.
Taken literally, as a genuine moment of raised awareness and separation of consciousness to a higher vibration, then I would interpret the event as having had an opportunity to form a connection with your guides. Or some other positive entities wanting to offer you friendship. Considering the prevalence of light, warmth, and comfort it is safe to say that these beings were ones of positivity.
The portal/gateway itself could have been a literal path that was opened between yourself and the entities, which makes me think there is an implication of them residing in a different place or plane. Somewhere that is separate or 'other' from earth and its energies. Likely a higher energetic/spiritual plane. ... Maybe even something like the Pleides, it is hard to zay really. Truth be told the specific place doesn't even always matter.
Your inability to act may have been because of your being startled by the event, it does sound like it was rather sudden and caught you at a bit of a disadvantage. It may have also been as simple as being unsure or unpracticed in -how- to conceptualise the process of moving and acting when separate from your body in consciousness. It can take a while to get used to the dreamlike perspective. Another possibility is that you weren't separate from your body but instead in a heightened state of conscious and energetic awareness. So still in your body, laying in meditation, and watching events unfold.
Being 'not ready' could mean that you might just have more to learn before your attitudes and vibrations are in a state where you and those beings can connect. Or they may have recognized that such a meeting was otherwise a bit premature. But they would have still used the opportunity to try and trigger an awareness of the possibility.
I guess whether symbolic or literal (or even both) you are being made aware of a potential choice to find a new path to follow. I might suggest taking some time to learn about channelling, pleiadians, and other light messengers that connect with people as channels and guides. It might prove interesting. ^_^
Thank you so much. I grew up in a very christian home that taught me to be afraid of the supernatural. With growing on my own I have opened my mind to further possibilities and have been interested in raising my state of awareness. It is still very hard for me to get over this indoctrinated fear and have had difficulties trying to overcome them. I will look into all that you have suggested to me, I can not thank you enough.
Happy to help. I am well familiar with the ways new experiences can feel like they are creating more questions than they answer. ... -Way- more questions. But as time goes on and as you learn new things, it does start to come together into an understanding.
Patience, staying active in learning, and perseverance are all good early lessons to adopt. ^_^
Maybe the beings were your spirit guides or other type of beings. They were friendly though... Would considerate they told you you're not ready for Astral Projection, like not ready to have this type of experience, yet. I strongly am feeling like telling you to practise Lucid Dreaming...maybe you are ready for that.
Lucid Dreaming and Astral Projection are quite similar, but the first one is taking place at the Dream Worlds. The second one no. Maybe the Dream World is the place from which you should begin from, maybe it is more safe. Begin from there, the Dream Worlds. You can get there in the same way you had that supernatural experience..search it up. Keep in mind that many people say things like "Dreams are taking place in our heads" blah blah.. This is not true. Everytime we dream, we go to the Dream Worlds, they are very much existable and alive like the "astral ones". Both are non-physical places. Just different locations on the general non-physical places.
I felt like those beings also told me you should start from the Dream Planes, maybe this is what they were trying to show you. Maybe this is what the portal meant, according to Spirit76's interpation of this sign. Also, I am sure you could meet those beings there, if they wanted to present themselves and if they feel they should show themselves.
There is a reason for you to see the number 29 everywhere, there is a meanimg behind every number.
