A while ago, when I was looking for a mentor, a guy on this site suggested that I should contact a person, a powerful magician named Ina Agbara. Has anyone on this site heard of him? Is he a good mentor?
I have never heard of them. I would be careful however, people will mainly push their ideas and practices. When you need to learn and create your own path. Many people find that studying the basics that people on this site have offer thousands of different views on to use and gather a foundation to your practice and others. Then others look into a form of magic or occult studies like Divination, Crystals and if those parts you find interest work you will find a path and if you fail. Well there are thousands by thousands of practices to look into and study thus this day and age Knowledge is power.

So does anyone know a good mentor? I need an guidance from an experienced wizard since I have a feeling that this path is far too risky to walk down on my own.
It is likely that you won't find an online mentor, as many people will only assist, not fully guide. In person mentors are tricky to find and you may find that they want money or want to exploit you in some way (not all will be like this, but always be cautious). You also have the problem of a mentor teaching you everything they know, even their misinformation and bad habits.
Generally you don't need a mentor, the majority of people today learn by themselves, as long as you take it slowly and don't jump into something you don't know how to get yourself out of, you will be just fine. Learning by yourself from lots of different sources of information also allows you to follow your own path and learn what is and isn't right, while learning from a mentor may sound like a good way to get lots of information, it's not always the correct information and is often swayed by religious or other beliefs.

Creepy, right? also, there is a place called 'Agbara' which many famous creepypasta writers were born. i'd be careful about seeking this guy, dude. on another note, i would like a mentor in magick to help guide me along the ways of this complicated, amazing aspect of life and everything above it.
