Spirit Guide's Difficult

I've been trying to meet my spirit guide(s) for over a month now, with no success. I've been doing Tarot spreads on it, and have gotten numerous confirmations that they're purposefully being difficult for me. I don't think they're angry, but rather, challenging me. I don't even know the form they take, and I'm getting concerned. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

In what ways are you trying to connect with them?

You could always create a sacred space for your spirit guides and dedicate time to connect with them like through meditation. However, remember building a relationship with them takes time just like any relationship with somebody.

Maybe instead of viewing your spirit guides as separate entities, maybe view the more as extensions of yourself. Just pieces of yourself that serve to aid you when you need them in whatever situation you endure, or there for counsel when you need them? Just a thought.

I like that extension of self bit and will give that a try myself. I too struggle with meeting my guides and have come up with the problem that I need to learn or fix something myself first. What I don't know yet.
