Any way I can help myself understand what I am? This has been troubling me for years and I cannot find out how to go about doing this.

Now, if you would like to provide more details as to what you are asking, it would be helpful. Then we can make suggestions as to what you should look into studying to best help you become the type of person that you feel you should be. Possibly what kind of magical practices would best suit you.

It's true if you believe in reincarnation that we all might have been something before now, something not human. Yet what's important is that we are human now, even if we remember something in my opinion it will only be because lessons need to be learnt from it in this life. As a human, if we were not meant to be anything but human we wouldn't have been I believe, the universe is a powerful thing after all. In terms of spiritual practice as has been said if you give some more details we will be happy to help.
