i would love it if everyone chose to share with the rest of the coven their knowledge or their stories , lets talk about all the "strange " things that happened to us , so that we can help each other explain them or cope with them ... let us know when you felt the "calling " of magic in you life ...i would like to keep the coven active , get to know each other better , we are a Family after all ...

A Pantheon for those who may not know can be described as all of the gods of a people or religion collectively or in this case it's all the Angels and Saints. There are many Angels and Saints. They all have their own specialties like any deity that you would request help from.
I will start with Saints and then Angels. There are two different types of "Saints" those with a capital S and those with a lower case s. Everyone who dies in a state of grace and enters heaven becomes a saint with a lower case s. If you are canonized by the Catholic Church then you get an upper case S. (That process is an entirely different topic which I would be happy to discuss with anyone who wants to know more.) Whether recognized as a Saint by the Catholic Church or not, all saints are able to help those of us here by what is known as the Communion of Saints. We are connected to them through faith and prayer. They are blessed with special abilities to work on our behalf from heaven. This is called intercession. My favorite Saint is St. Therese. She had promised to spend her Heaven doing good upon Earth. She said that she will send down a shower of roses to those who ask for her help. Many times when you pray for her intercession, you will either be gifted roses or smell the scent of roses and you know that she is working on your request. A family friend asked St. Therese to give her a sign if she should go through and adopt another child. Later that day her daughter in law brought over roses and told her how all of a sudden her dead rose bush had flowered this morning. She then adopted the child because she had received her sign from above. You can google search to find a specific saint who specializes in certain areas. Here are a few examples: St. Joseph Cupertino if you want to get good grades, St. Cecilia for music (I would call upon her before my performances), St. Christopher for safe travels, St. Peregrine for cancer patients, St. Rita for difficult marriages and/or domestic violence, etc. There are Saints who can help with every cause.
And now Angels. Angels are spiritual beings that are agents, attendants, and messengers of God. There are 3 groups of Angels called Spheres. Each sphere has 3 types of Angels. There are 9 total types of Angels. The first sphere: 1.Seraphim they are closest to God and protect His throne. There are only 4 of them. They have 6 wings. 2 cover their faces, 2 their bodies, and 2 their feet. (See Isaiah 6:1-7 about his vision of them.) 2. Cherubim are also protectors of the throne of God and intercessors. They have 4 faces; A Man, An ox, An Eagle, and a Lion.(See Genesis 3:24 and Ezekiel 10:1-22) 3. Thrones. Thrones dispense God's judgment and the lower angels need to go through them in order to get to God. (Colossians 1:16) The second sphere: 4. Dominions: These Angels look like humans with wings. They are the leadership that regulates the duties of the other angels (also Colossians 1:16) 5. Virtues: These angels control the elements. They govern nature and provide miracles. (1 Peter 3:22) 6. Powers: Powers are angels that control the border between Heaven and Earth (Colossians 1:16 again) They are the Angels of Birth and Death and fight against evil. The third sphere: 7. Principalities (Colossians 1:16) Principalities are in charge of groups such as nations, cities, towns, and the angels that work on Earth. 8. Archangels: They are the protectors of the physical. They are God's messengers and appear like people in times of great need. (1 Thessalonians 4:16) 9. Angels: The ones known just as Angels are the ones that deliver our prayers to God and He answers through them. They nurture, counsel, and heal. They are our personal guardians.
In addition to that, there were the fallen angels. You can read about them in the book of Genesis. Hopefully this is helpful. Let me know if you need clarification about anything I wrote or if you have any more questions.

I was reading Path of a Christian Witch and there was some interesting stuff about Mary Magdalene, so maybe we could do a discussion about her?

Mary Magdalene is an interesting and misrepresented character. I recommend reading the Gospel of Mary Magdalene. It gives a lot of insight as to who she really was and how she really was. There were other books that were not included in the final books allowed in the bible. I firmly believe its because of how the Patriarchy tries to silence powerful women. Mary Magdalene was the first one to discover that Jesus had risen from the dead. To me this was Jesus's way of showing how important she really was. In the Gospel of Mary Magdalene it seems as though the followers of Jesus were jealous of her and did not want her teaching about Jesus although she was more than qualified because she was always there. The Patriarchy was allowed to continue for way too long even though Jesus didn't treat women the way they were treated by the others culturally during that time and afterward. I believe if more women were strong like Mary Magdalene was back then that things would have been much different now. I'm interested in the thoughts and insight that others have about her.

Another thing we could talk about is Cabala. I just learned the word today and all I know is that it's a christian-version of Kaballah. I was wondering if anyone had any takes on that. Also Santaria was something that seemed vaguely related to Christian Wicca but it might be too Hoodoo-ish.

Cabala is the Latin term for Kabballah during the Medieval times. It basically means tradition, given, or passed down or sometimes through. The practice is a great way to discover answers to sacred mysteries through the scriptures. I need to learn more about it but so far it reminds me of Lectio Divina which is Latin for the Scriptures Divine. It is a way of meditating through the Scriptures. It was something I learned from a Religious Sister while I was on a spiritual retreat during my studies at the seminary.
