Looking to do a sort of exorcism, and a priestess gave me some advice on how to do it. Unfortunately, part of the instructions calls for three astral circles creating a bubble around meand I have absolutely no idea what that is or how to do it. I currently have a ticking time bomb of a spirit sealed and warded in my garage and I would really like to get the thing out. Any ideas?
I am wondering if the person who gave you this advice was using astral in reference to the use of energy and visualization to draw 'imaginary' circles around yourself.
Personally I have not heard of a specific drawn circle called an astral circle (or a circle with an 'astral' sigil in it).
The only other thing I could think ot may be is to travel astrally (IE shift your consciousness into the astral levels) to make a circle and perform the spell there. But that seems too literal and also unnecessary.
My suggestion is to adapt your information to what you already know and use. The power of the symbols and processes we use come from our retation to them and the meanings/representations we hold withn them. If you don't feel confident in using will and visualization alone, but you are familiar and confident in physically drawing a circle, then do that. If you feel confident in your ability to mentally draw a circle around yourself and commit energy and will to define the boundaries, then that would be your best method.
I am assuming the circle is to create a personal sacred/protected space while you work against the entity. If that is the case thenyou can also add to that part of the process by calling on your guides/guardians for assistance, laying a circle of stones (using a meaningful number like 7 or 12), Lighting a cleansing and empowering incense like sandalwood, dragon's blood, sage, sweetgrass, etc.
If it wasn't mentioned, Iwould recommend some form of personal formal cleansing before and after as well. Something as simple as a mindfully purposeful shower with a pinch of salt with the soap to wash any low vibrations/negativity or doubt down the drain.
Also, don't neglect to 'shut the door' behind this entity to prevent it from returning. Make conscious effort to cleanse or smudge the area for a few days. Try to make the environment emotionally positive. Put up a funny sign. Maybe hang or place a cleansing item like an amethyst crystal or witches ball or horseshoe. Maybe draw a rune or two for peace and strength if you are familiar with them. ... That sort of thing.
