Spirits

I've recently heard from a friend of a spirit (we think) that was able to pass through her wards. it just stands in her room though and watches her. Does anyone have any ideas?

Cleanse, banish, protect. It may simply be time to renew protections already in place.

It may be something unintentionally invited in as well.

And it could be a psychological experience rather than spiritual.

Well...I would refrain from banishing just yet. It doesn't do anything really bad, right? It just stands around, nothing else. Try communicating with it (ouija boards, voice, etc), and find out what it wants. Ask the friend if any negative things have happened ever since the spirit came. Also ask the friend's relatives and other people if anything bad's happened to her. That could help discern the spirit's motives.

I agree with the other people in the thread: cleanse the space, up your wards and get ready to banish it if it's causing harm. It doesn't seem like it's negative, so I wouldn't banish it. It might be just be curious, or it might want something from your friend. Try communicating and see what it says! Remember to protect yourselves before communicating, though.

I agree with prsona but disagree with the order. Banish the entity. Cleanse the space. Reset the wards.
