Grimoire Organization

Hello!

I've recently been redoing my grimoire pages and updating them / making them more detailed, and I was wondering about how others organize theirs. When I'm "done" for the time being, I think I will need to break it into multiple books (I'm planning to use a binder system so this will be relatively easy as far as moving pages, etc. goes).

If you have multiple grimoires, how are they separate from each other? Or even if you don't, how would you suggest I go about organizing mine into multiple binders?

I am very eclectic in my practice and research things I don't even necessarily work with, so I was hoping someone could offer guidance as to how to split mine up.

There is no one way fits all. Some have multiple books, others have binders with page Seperators, it's your book, your choice.

Usually what little information I actually write down is as scattered as my thoughts. I can be contemplating a quote I spied from Kirkegaard one minute, and then find myself designing a concept for a multiple-source renewable energy farm the next. ...Usually something I would have NO idea how to actually build/prototype, of course. Just your typical Aries idea-guy stuff. *laughs*

Usually when I try to organize things I try to group information/topics by how they relate to eachother. Deities and gods with the stories and history around them, spirits and guides with meditation and visualization, meditation and visualization with energy-working, chakras, and healing work... astrology with numerology and sacred geometry... that sort of thing.

I don't take organizing too seriously though, there are just too many things that overlap or come together in big grey areas so no matter how I try it ends up looking like a conspiracy-theorists cork board spiderwebbed in thumbtacks and string. Sometimes you just need to stick something anywhere it will go, and then just stick on a label of its own to make it find-able later.

Really, that's all that matters; if you can find it easily when you want to, then it's organized enough in my books.
