    Cast your circle on a monday night, to bring Papa Legba to your site.
    Chant the following and place the lit cigars in your circle, with the glasses of rum and the cane.

    #2 - How to Make Black Salt

    Instructions on creating black salt when it is needed in your spells and rituals.
    You may need:

  • 2 parts sea salt (which is the same as kosher salt)
  • 1 part scrapings from a cast iron skillet or pot OR
  • 1 part fine ash from your fire pit OR
  • 1 part finely ground black pepper

    Depending on the density of your coloring ingredient, you may need to adjust the portions a little, but that's the basic method of making it. If you have a well-seasoned cast iron pot, you should be able to get a good amount of black scrapings out of the bottom of it -- if it seems too oily, use the ash or pepper instead.
    Don't confuse this concoction, however, with the black salt used in Indian cuisine -- that item is actually a mineral salt which is a weird pinkish gray color and has a bit of a sulphuric taste to it.

    #3 - Flame Purification

    Candle and flame purification before spell work begins.
    You may need:

  • Olive oil
  • 1 Towel
  • Candles

    Set the candle on the table. Light it. Meditate for a while, clear your mind and channel your energies throughout yourself. Now let your energy flow into the candle. Cover your hands in olive oil. Rub your hands from the top of the candle to the bottom, 3 times.

    Speak these words as you coat the candle in oil: "When this spell is done, you will be purified and one". You should sense the candle being purified. When done blow out the candle, and clean up the mess.

    This spell allows you to prepare stones/gemstones for your work
    You may need:

  • Stones

    You need either sunlight or moonlight it is your own preference.
    Speak the following words 3 times why holding the stones up to your light source.
    I call upon all the gods and goddesses divine I ask you to bless this stone for me, at this time This is my will so shall it be

    #5 - My Embrace

    This spell can be cast to protect those close to you.
    You may need:

  • 2 Dark purple candles
  • 1 Black candle
  • 1 White candle
  • 1 Red candle

    Create a pentagram using black or sea salt. Place the black candle at the top of the pentagram Place the white candle on the left bottom point Place the red candle on the right bottom point Place the 2 purple candles at each side point
    Cleanse your mind and clear it of everything Take at least 5 deep breaths to relax your body Make sure you will not be disturbed during the casting
    You will repeat this spell for each of the candles as you light them one by one. Light the candles in the order you placed them. (refer to above)

    #6 - Incompressible Shield of Valiance

    This is a spell that you can cast to create a shield of protection for yourself.
    You may need:

  • 1 black candle
  • 1 white candle

    Light your candles and remove all worry from your mind. Relax and picture yourself at peace.
    This spell must be repeated until you can feel it. It is different for everyone, some people need 4 times, others need 7. It makes no difference how many times you repeat it.
    Keep me safe from those that harm Protect me while I use my charms Incase me in a sheild of steel, rock and diamond Use this wall to reflect ill will onto them My shield is flawless, solid and true My eternal fire will let nothing through My shield has three layers that are hard This allows me, not to drop my guard I call upon all powers and darkness within Protect me from all and cloak me from kin Allow the darkness to wrap me in black Those that bring harm will get a surprise when they attack Repel all unwanted forces that are not mine Protect me for all eternity or until the end of time Teach my enemies their survival means to flee This is my will, so shall it be

    This is to remove all negativity from your stones/gemstones after you are finished your work.

    This can be done at anytime. It is suggested you do it following their use.
    Repeat these words 3 times, and you are done:

    "Place your stone in your power hand.
    The power I gave to you, give it back to me send it back where it came from This is my will so shall it be."
