Could you be more specific as to which gods and goddesses you are wanting information on? There are several different pantheons and groups from different cultures and traditions.

Do you mean something like Hecate or the Horned God? Or something like Loki? Thor?

Have you tried the mythology section at your local library?

I only worship Jehovah, Sophia and Jesus as a Holy Family Trinity; but I invoke/evoke other deities and respect them as guides, guardians and friends. So I guess you could say I'm henotheistic. I have a personal preference for the Norse and Egyptian pantheons.

You can work with a multitude of God/esses from a multitude of places, though most people I know tend to have a select few or certain pantheons they work with. You need to narrow your question a bit, Damion, because it's certainly very vague. In my practice alone, there are over 20 God/esses that I work with, and I know other who work with even more! Many many God/esses can be implemented into magick in a variety of ways.

If you don't have a specific pantheon you're looking into , a specific set of deities from a culture or tradition, or a specific God/ess in general- you may want to spend some time with literature and read a bit about different ones to get a feel for who you want information on. From there, we could probably be of more assistance here on the site.

And on a side note, Uni, I would not be suggesting Loki to someone who is unfamiliar with this area.

You're asking which gods and goddesses work with magick? Simply put, they all do.

Finding a deity to worship should not be a matter of trying to find someone to help you with magick. You can work magick with NO religion at all. If you choose to ask the aid of a deity, that is your choice. You don't need to do so to perform magick. Magick is in YOU.

If you have interest in any particular deity, a better place to start your research would be Google or Wikipedia. From there you can go to your local library. AFTER you do that, you will have a better idea of what that particular deity specializes in.

90% of magick is research. Learn how to do it yourself. It's not hard. I have a lot of luck simply typing the name of a deity into Google and hitting "search"

Obviously you want to avoid anything that looks untrustworthy, but that is true of anything you read online. This is why I suggest following up your internet research with some library work.

Yes folks. Magick is work. It's difficult and it's sometimes boring. Often I have to read through 5-6 dull books before I find anything of interest. Read THROUGH, not skim. Sometimes one book will have JUST ONE small piece of the information I want, buried in a lot of other stuff.

READ people!!! It's the key to knowledge.

This is the best advice you will receive on this Damionkie. Don't ask other people for their opinions on a deity till you've learned about them for yourself. That way you can listen to everyone's opinion, but form your OWN based on lore you have found YOURSELF. It's the only way to know for sure that someone's not giving you bad information.
