Meaning of life...

I think the meaning of life is whatever we want it to be, whatever we want to center our life around.

All of your opinions make sense. But, sadly, only one is the true answer...

There can't be just one true answer, the meaning of life is what scientists and philosophers have been contemplating for centuries, that's why we have religion so we can try and make sense of why were here, so to try and go and tell people what they believe about why we are here is wrong because no one really knows, it's a mystery and it keeps us thinking, and keeps us open minded to new ideas, so I would please appreciate it if you didn't go around telling people that what they believe is wrong.

Yes but, is it not also that we invent religion to keep rules in order? For example, the ten commandments show that they are a perfect set of rules for keeping a society in order. Don't kill, don't covet, don't sleep around. And with these rules came the necessity of a God or group of gods to deliver them. The idea that an all knowing, all seeing entity was watching your every move was perfect to keep people honest.

Honestly? Here is my opinion and or theory.

We were meant to be slaves. Nothing more, then something saw us as more. We became entertainment for something, someone.

The purpose of life is to live, entertain...

This is just my personal view though

I don't believe there is any point or meaning in life by default. Meaning and purpose is something we must create ourselves as we travel on our paths.
