Common word for your magickal book is Book Of Shadows (B.O.S):
You can make your own trust me its much fun and it creates a relationship and great liking with you and you B.O.S. Sadly but true, its mostly recommended to be discreet with your magickal lifestyle and supplys, and respect your book give it a special place on your bookshelf, keep it in a treasure box(Chest), if you have to hide it from family a nice place would be in your closet on a top shelf,under a desk,etc... Get creative. But there are people out there who are against the magickal community or fear it or maybe might want to be apart of it so bad they steal your book thinking its full all this amazing magick they show on t.v or whatnot.
So to keep the peace keep yourself and your supplys safe by being discreet. Its sad but true, plus who needs to broadcast their spiritual path (Its personal and for you so everyone really doen't need to know.)
To make one just get some card board and a textbook the size you would like your B.O.S, fold the card bord over the book to the point it takes its shape and size(definately focus on the binding- the side of the book), Then cut away the rest of the uneeded cardboard, Get some a pack of computer paper and use a page to trace how much of the inside space you will need for the paper( The book's size should be a bit more bigger than the paper),
Then once you've trace from the binding to the space you need on both sides of the inner covers, Get some fabric (It can be an used or old short or whatever you want maybe old jeans-I used an old black shirt I have never worn-) and strong glue(adhesive or fabric glue... a glue gun is best- ask around you may have one lying around your house and not know trust me or your friends or your grandma)
Then cut the fabric to fit right over the traced lines of the paperon all sides make it tight enough just glue around the sides if you glue the fabric to the cover it'll look janky. LOL
Then glue in the paer make sure you get it even and how you'd like it then put the strong glue on the inner binding and nold the paper in the glue untill it dries(Glue gun is best because it dries fast).
Wall la you have a Book of Shadows of your liking and you made it I like mine to look like the ones in movies all ancient but modern slap a pentacle or other symbol(s) on the front middle made out of fabric and your done. Decorate more if you want its up to you and bless it later on.

I USE A DINDER BUT ANYTHING THAT U CAN USE TO ADD/TAKE AWAY SPELLS WILL WORK JUST KEEP IN MIND THAT IT IS THE MOST SACRED THING 2 A WICCAN HERE IS HOW SACRED ITS 2 ME MY WIFE KNOWS I HAVE A BOS BUT I MIGHT HAVE SHOWN HER 3 SPELLS OUT THE WHOLE BOS AND EVEN THEN THEY WERE 4 BLESSING C AND SUMMON A FAIRIE
