Revenge on a Rapist

Keep in mind the satute of limitations.You may not be able to charge said person if a certain number of years has gone by. This number of years varies from place to place.

Theoretically couldn't you try and file suit for another reason? I feel like things such as diliberate rape shouldn't even have been covered under the statue of limitations due to the survivor's shame and pain and etc... but then again I'm not exactly the one to change things like that.

to everyone that read this and offered about authorities or therapy, it has been 5 years statute of limitations has passed, it was a group, and her own family doesn't even know, I was the only one trusted with this... and i feel justice needs to be served, she has yet to forgive them and cannot find herself to do so... but yet retribution isn't on her mind either. She just wants it to sit and fester and cause damage.
